It is another edition of Tailpipes & Tacos - the monthly cruise-in hosted by Stan Holt at the Lupe' Tortilla restaurant in Katy, Texas. The third Saturday of each month, this location is opened early for the Saturday morning auto crowd. Along with coffee, there are other adult choices of breakfast beverages that include soft drinks to go along with the breakfast tacos. This may be a restaurant but for the cruise-in, it is all for charity.
Stan and Sheila are personal friends of Shirley Muldowney and the funds from the event go to help support her charity - 'Shirley's Kids'.
On this episode, we get a chance to talk with Andrew Garcia, the proud owner of a Shelby Mustang GT350 that is part of a group of Shelby Mustangs that rolled into Tailpipes & Tacos. As a group, they are part of the Houston Shelby Owners club, and we appreciate them coming out to the event.
Our feature this segment has the 2021 Hyundai Elantra Limited in the New Car Showroom and Don Armstrong is going to share his thoughts after spending a week riding around Houston.
