How are small aftermaket supplies doing in the 'new auto world'? We check with Elite Glass and Trim on how some services are doing.

It has been a topsy turvy automotive market with new car shortages and pre-owned vehicles up over 30%!  It is all about supply and demand, with suppliers trying to keep up for the new car maket,  Then over in the pre-owened world, it is very similar except that often times there needs to be a bit of work on the subject vehicle.  Something from cracked glass could be on any lot out there with a simple rock hitting during a test drive.  Regardless, it has to be fixed.  

We turned to friend of the show, Dale Hulquest, owner operator Elite Glass and Trim in Houston, Texas.  Dale as been in the automotive glass business for 'a long time' and works with area dealers to keep their offerings ready to go.  

Dale offers some education on automotive glass - there are three different grades of glass is just one example of what we are learning.  Dale also works on interior materials, in fact, in some cases, a dealer has completly upgraded an interior to all leather at a customers request.  

Then of course Dales is a NHRA Sportsman Racer, so got to talk about his cars and the upcoming season to round out the interview.
