It is an unfortunate fact of life that bad things happen, and when they do, often people need help getting started again. This is particularly true for single mothers or families of service members. One of the biggest obsticles to overcome is transportation - to work, to school, to grocery stores and many others. In the Houston area, there is very limited public transportion in a city that is spreadout geographically. Peple in need often can't get their transportion repaired, or maybe they don't have a vehicle at all.
How to help? Parts, donations and vehicldes are always good as God's Garage is just one effort that helps in many ways. It did start as a way to 'fix cars' with ASE certified techs doing the inspections and work. It has grown into much more and Brad Thompson joins us with more about what this group does for those in need. He also shares information on how others can help...
